The first 3 dimensional eye surgery in the city of Mumbai and second in the state of Maharashtra was performed at the prestigious Ojas eye hospital, Bandra by Dr. Niteen Dedhia on Jan 11 with the Zeiss Artevo 800.
Herein, the most minute part of the eye is magnified and viewed stereoscopically on the 55″ high definition 4 K screen providing greater presicion and accuracy for best visual outcome. This digital microscope is of a very high power, so high intensity light is not required compared to other routine microscopes.
It’s like a pilot in a digital cockpit enabling real time data in the surgeons view for maximum detail. It allows cloud connectivity with the Zeiss IOL Master 700 enabling an easy error free precise lens alignment. It allows real time measurement of the blood pressure of the eye during the surgery.
